Book the entire retreat for your group of friends. You have full access to the homestead and its property, Quilting Studio, and Quilt Shop. The sewing studio has room for 15 quilters with an extra station for use of our Accuquilt Cutting System. No need to bring your irons or cutting tools, they are all provided in the retreat studio. Both the homestead and studio have full kitchens for you and your friends to prepare your meals. Breakfast items and snacks are available in both kitchens.
Once the organizers submits the reservation form and pays the deposit, your reservation will appear on the calendar where attendees will be able to link and pay for their retreat.
For a 4 day/3 night retreat, the cost is $345. Each additional day is $50. There are no check-in or check-out times. Arrive & leave when you want.
Sew Cool Retreat will host beginner retreats either for a private group or open to the public. One of our favorite things to do is teach new quilters! These retreats are best with a maximum of 12 ladies. Veteran quilters will be present to help with each step of making a quilt top. The quilt shop has pre-cut fabric available for purchase, perfect for beginners.
Please note: the quilt top will be finished at the retreat (unless you use a custom pattern that may take longer), but the quilt won’t be completed. The top will still need to be quilted. Sew Cool offers longarm quilting services.
Have boxes of shirts you’ve been saving? Join one of our T-shirt quilt retreats to learn how to create your own keepsake quilt! Sew Cool by Timi has been creating T-shirt/memory quilts for almost 20 years and loves to teach ladies to create their own memory quilt.
Bring your shirts and the rest will be available at the retreat. Fingers crossed you will finish your quilt top during your retreat stay. Once you complete your quilt top, it will need to be quilted.
If you love to quilt and meet new friends, join one of our open quilt retreats! Several times a year, ladies will have the opportunity to attend an open retreat to work on projects of their own.
It’s great if you can bring a friend to share your bedroom, but it’s not required. Who knows, you may meet new lifelong friends who share a passion for creativity!
